Well, in a nutshell, That Family Show is all about...Family. Our desire is to create a fun, safe, and informative web presence that will appeal is kids of all ages.
Each week, beginning Jan 13th, we will have a 20-30 min webisode featuring interviews, reviews, how to's, music, art, games, and lots more.
This endeavor has been created and launched by two dads who wanted a website their kids could enjoy but also would serve as a tremendous resource to parents, teachers, grandparents, babysitters, and anyone else that has or works with kids.
Who Is That Family Show?
Mike Gianopulos was born in Greensboro and has spent his entire life in the Triad area of NC. A graduate of Liberty University and West Coast Bible College and Seminary, Mike has been in full-time church ministry for almost 20 years. During that time Mike has served as a children's pastor, youth pastor, church planter, and lead pastor.
He's married to the exceptionally beautiful Beth Mabe Gianopulos (of Danbury, NC), and they have 3 dandy young'uns to show for it (Jacob 12, Maria 10, and Joshua 6). Mike and Beth both enjoy the outdoors, kayaking, traveling, broadway shows, quirky movies, concerts, and Wake Forest athletics. Mike is also an avid disc golf player and Atlanta Braves fan.
Nathan Sieg is a folk-rock musician that seeks to provide music that adults can enjoy with a message that is appropriate for children. After children entered the scene (Liam 3 and Micah 1) he shifted focus to writing music that his son and wife enjoyed and in doing so the NathanRyan musical project was born! Nathan, a musician with over 20 years experience, desires to use his talents to teach children important lessons, have fun and share his love of music with people of all ages.
In high school Nathan and his friends always opted to make videos for their major projects. These were arguably some of the best cinematic efforts to ever grace the small screen. Well maybe not but they were certainly fun! So what better place than YouTube to revive some of the magic?!
